Crazy morph results

QUESTION:

When I morph between two objects in ECOTECT, the end result is a twisted mess. Why hasn't it worked properly ?

ANSWER:

Well chances are it probably has worked properly -its just that my implementation of morphing is a little obscure. The morphing facility in ECOTECT is dependant on the ordering of nodes in each object. Even in objects with a different number of nodes, the first node of object 1 will always morph towards the first node of object 2, and the last to the last. Because morphing can be quite a quick and powerful modelling tool, we have developed a "Morphing" tutorial to try to explain its idiosyncrasy's more thoroughly. There is also a relevant section in the "Auditorium" tutorial.
