Windows opened beyond schedule

QUESTION:

Can windows be opened outside the hours allocated to a scheduled zone (in this case I want to try open windows in the evening - after business hours - to reduce heat) ?

ANSWER:

You simulate manually openable windows by assigning a schedule to the Air Change Rates of a zone. Then set the Air Infiltration to the maximum flow rate and use the schedule to moderate that hour-by-hour, day to day.

When I apply a schedule for infiltration for the three summer months (every morning for two hours) the max heating loads wich occur in February decreases. I cannot understand how that occurs. What connects the heating loads in Winter with the infiltration during summer?
Please help me.
