EnergyPlus Irregular window error

Does anybody know how to create a non-rectilinear window in ecotect so that when it is exported to energy+ there is no error like the following:

"Severe ** Suspected 4-sided but non-rectangular Window"?

I've tried assigning a planer wall as window but it doesn't like that either. I really don't want to have to break up the window into smaller rectangles!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
