Hello all,
I am trying to model a facade with frit pattern and shading devices on the inside. Has anyone modeled a frit pattern glass in Ecotect? Should the glass just be assigned appropriate SHGC values of a frit glass? Will this even be correct since in reality the frit might reflect light into the space randomly? Any suggestions and insights are welcome.

You might like to model a
You might like to model a small sample of the glass and analyse that, however for a typical building model I would suggest you assign (as best you can) an appropriate set of material properties to account for the frit glass.
If you modelled the glass for the whole building it would end up being too complex and would become unmanageable for your analysis.
Are you able to get decent properties on the glass from the manufacturers ?
