For all our licenced software holders out there, we have added a new feature to allow you to access the full version patch downloads for your licenced software from the "My Account" section for your squ1.com account.
To access this new feature you must make sure that you create a user account on squ1.com with exactly the same email as used when you purchased your licences. The system will then detect the orders under your name and provide the appropriate details for you.
You are also able to make other changes such as address etc. as normal, and we will also be adding more features in the next month or so to make life easier for all.

It seems the email we have on file for your licences doesn't have pc@ in the email (I dont want to put your full email here as spam bots might scrape our site and send you junk email).
For me to fix this please just confirm; do you want the email on your licence details to be the same as your user account at squ1.com ?
Just send a brief yes/no to this post and I can update from there.
Once the 2 emails match on the 2 systems you will definately get the download links.

A number of our licence holders seem to be trying to login to squ1.com using the login details provided when they purchase their software licences.
This won't work, for security and privacy reasons we don't automatically create user accounts at squ1.com when someone purchases a software licence.
However if after purchasing a licence you do create yourself a user account at squ1.com using exactly the same email address (as I mention above), then you will have access to your licence details, download links plus other management features that we plan on adding in the near future...

I look at my Latest software downloads, but I only see ECOTECT full version patch it is that?
The full version patch
The full version patch available in your "My Account" page is what you need to licence our commercial programs -- but don't forget you must first download the full (trial) install to get all the correct resources, help etc. and then you download and install the "full version patch".
As to latest versions we will always provide access to the latest release you have a licence for in the "My Account" page.

I have downloaded the full version patch, do I still need to download and install the trial version, even when I am runnign the full v5.5? The date on the trial version doesn't seem to be upgraded from 2006 which is the same that I downloaded in the first place.
So, given this do I just install the patch, or download the trial version, install the patch, then put in rego details again or what?

Downloads for version 5.6 trial?
We are experiencing the same issue. We have downloaded and re-installed the files provided through the links, but the software version is still v5.5.
We are looking forward to the new features in v5.6 and are hoping to test them soon.

v5.60 is not available as a full release yet, that's why it doesn't appear in your my account page. It will appear as soon as it has been released.
Any current licence holders will also receive an email notification and instructions for the free upgrade as soon as the release is available.

Is 5.6 available as a trial or upgrade to 5.50 then?
If not, then why does the main page still describe that it is?
The links on the ecotect main page lead me to my account section for the free download of 5.6 but the links are not available at all for me to actually download the software. Is there a reason you are still directing people to look for something that isn't really available? or is it really available someplace but I am just failing to find it, as are most of the people who have commented here?

All I can see is that it says it is "imminent" and "will be" available via the my account page -- admittedly the release is overdue by our own schedule, but that's unfortunately the nature of software testing sometimes.
A full released (past tense
) announcement will be made when that is actually the case -- and if you are an existing licence holder you will also receive notification by email with upgrade instructions.
