Try to resize the grid instead (using the grid nodes)with the resize grid extent button.
Also, sometimes I just create a transparent plane of a certain size , isolate it, fit the grid to it, then turn on the other zones without resizing the grid. The sunpath should size itself to that object.

Can the next version release be able to automatically size the sun path to whatever zone/object is turned on and displayed?
