Description
When projecting the weather tool in class on a data projector, some colors are very hard to read, like the blue temperature on the black screen. It would be great if there was a custom color selection button near or on the graph legend, or just a high-contrast setting.
Would also benefit black and white printing.

Colour Settings
Hi Tom,
There is a custom colour feature already set in Ecotect, useable for the scale colour, or the overall colour schemes of the software interface.
Check the Preferences > modelling window for various colours selections (such as the canvas, so it can be set to be black (default) or white, or whatever), and you can always go to the "customize scale..." option in the drop-down menu of the "contour" dialogue box of the Grid Analysis panel. It will allow you to create your own colour scale, or use some pre-defined ones, that will contrast well with your selected background colour.
Best,
Olivier

Does that work in the weather tool then too? That's a separate program isn't it?
Weather Tool Colors
Darn it Tom,
I apologize, I had missed the little detail saying it was the Weather Tool.
I am affraid we are then out of luck.
Although I know Andrew is working on the next version of Weather Tool which will use OpenGl for all the displays, so I could only guess it will also feature the option to adjust the background color.
You should add a feature request in the Weather Tool project page to be sure.
With that said, you can change the blue lines of the Monthly Data to yellow by selecting the data of interest in the drop down menu...that helps a bit with visibility I guess.

Uhm, isn't this the feature request project page thingemajig?
Caroline added it for me...
I'll look up that color changing thing... I don't own the weathertool so I can't test it, but I'll pass it on to the professor.
uh...
Oh yes... it is the feature request thingy.
You can test the color change in the Weather Manager of Ecotect (tools menu > convert weather data): same thing.
