Life Cycle Tool

Looking around the tools tab in ecotect I found the Life Cycle Tool option, it tries to call a LifeCycleTool.exe. Should these executable be in another folder, or can it be downloaded from somewhere?

Cheers,
Timo

Hi Timo,

LCAid is a Life Cycle analysis software that Andrew worked on a while back.
It has always been incorporated to Ecotect as a tool, but I have never been able to make it run. I suspect the software is no longer publically available and the tool is a left over from previous version for those who still have the executable file on their machine.

I would recommend looking into Other Life Cycle Tools.
Because the "Life Cycle Tool" feature is a general name, you have the option to change the path where Ecotect goes look for such a tool (in the user preference).

I have used BEES in the past. LISA is another one that is free for download.

Best,
Olivier
